Yes of course its possible! Works splendid, a perfect controller for your emulator gaming or simply just your PC game! A guide for how to do this in windows can be found Here

But, this requires some "hacking", drivers and such, for it to work. The most remarkable thing i noticed, was that in a Linux based OS (I only tested ubuntu and arch) it worked "out of the box"! Meaning, no need for drivers or programs. Its just being treated as if it was a normal usb controller! Now how awesome aint that!

PS3, PS2, PS1, NES, N64, all of this and more, with your lovely PS3 Controller!

There are also possibilites of using the sixaxis function on a computer, but are more advanced. See for example this, well maybe not practical, but very cool!

Yes as i stated before, i was submitting a movie for the Christmas Contest at Warcraftmovies, but didnt get it finished, as i was on vacation for a week, and came home to close to submission day!

But!!! It will still come, and i really hope it will come before the end of this year, as if not i gotta release it next x-mas!! Isnt to much left tho, will release it asap!! Aaaaaand btw, it may be the trigger for a little series with the characters used in that movie :)

As for other news, iam discovering some talent in using this nice digital pen i have, so i might make a picture every week, related to irl things happening, or not happening! Heres the first!! Me, teh dorf huntard in the colds of Norway, with a sun, sunglasses and a nice cold beer! (Uhm..Wtf?)

Or well, download it first, then wait for a few moments! Anyhow, this movie, is by far the best movie i've ever seen. Well, i might as well say that this is hollywood quality, i would honestly pay for watching this movie at the cinema if that was the case!

The perfectioned editing, the sound fx, the massive video fx, explosions, lightnings, oh god!! this movie, is made of win. And if i ever said some other movie was made of win, i gotta take that back, because this is made of win. Iam out of words..

This my friends.. Is legendary!

16 - How to make shadows in Vegas 7.0

Ok, so a couple of guys has been asking me how to add shadows in a wow machinima movie, so i decided to make a quick tutorial about it.

But, i dont want to take creds for the knowledge itself, as Baron Soosdon tought me how to do it, iam just the messenger you can say :)

Ok, so, its not hard really, but i think you might need to know the basics of how to use Vegas before going out on this one.

Click the images to see more clearly. Lets start!

1 - First, you open a project in Vegas. In this case, a new project. Add for instance a background and a clip from modelviewer.

2 - Chroma key the modelviewer clip, and position it where you want it.

3 - Now add a new video track beneath the original chromakeyed clip.

4 - Duplicate the first modelviewer clip and put it into the video track beneath. One way to duplicate it, is to click the original footage -> ctrl + c, then click where you want the duplicated footage, and press ctrl + v.

5 - Press Event FX, and add Sony HSL adjust to the duplicated footage.

6 - Adjust the Luminance to 0,00. The settings should look like the picture above.

7 - Exit the Event FX adjustments, and Click on this little icon on the track where the duplicated footage is.

8 - Select 3d Source Alpha, the option at the top.

9 - Press the Track Motion button. (The icon with 2 windows and an arrow)

10 - This window will pop up, play around with it until you get it where you want it

11 - Mine ended up like this. But of course you can adjust it so it suits you :)

12 - To make it look more real, you can adjust the opacity on that layer by dragging the button as shown at the image backwards.

The downthing about this technique, is that these settings affect that whole layer, so with many different scenes, this can add up to be many, many layers.

So, one film done, another film in the making!

Have started making a story movie, the script is done, and the frapsing has slightly started. I've just learned some model editing, and some new techniques in the machinima making, so hopefully the movie will be Splendid!

Approx. 15 minutes long, extraordinary storyline, and epic battles!

Oh yes, finally, after for some, long time! The halloween contest tempted me to go for that aswell, but that was, uhm, not a good idea.. To little time for that, nuff said.

Anyways, heres how it looks, and thats how close u'll get before release at contest announce!

I also wanna give a shoutout to this guy, a real creative kiddy, who has been working a bit on this movie with meh!

And yea, that IS a lot of layers, its not even all of them. 34 Layers! It eats my rendering time!!

Ok, Windows sux.

So, yesterday i was going to delete everything in the trash can, and Temporary Internet files, to free some disk place. But BAM! All files on computer gone! Well, almost, but u get my point..

Lucky me, i have someone to blame, its the good old Microsoft. Everything i had done on my next video was gone, hoping to get it all back from these so called backup files (what?). Iam no computer genious, but hopefully it will be ok!

Anyways..Screw Xp, and just that thought will come for you too one day! Linux here i come?
